THE PROCESS

The Parties and their counsel will be able to select an arbitrator who best suits their needs from this list. Alternately, parties may mutually agree to have the Centre select an arbitrator for them. Draft agreements to conduct an arbitration will be provided.

The Centre will notify the selected arbitrator who will then contact the parties and finalize details of the hearing, including location.

As one of the administrative services provided, the Centre will receive advance payments from the parties to be held in trust and applied towards the fees of the arbitrator, the administration fee, and other expenses as incurred.

Representatives from the Centre are available by phone (at 684-2821) or will be on location in the Vancouver Law Courts, near the office of the Trial Coordinator.
