BCICAC :: Fee Schedule - British Columbia

Application fee (per process)	$250 (plus GST)
Fee payable upon appointment of arbitrator	$200 (plus GST)
Fee payable upon appointment of mediator	$200 (plus GST)
Arbitrator"s fees ($200 to $300 per hour)	As billed by arbitrator
Mediator"s fees (approximately $200 per hour , 4 hour mediation)	As billed by mediator
Other fees and disbursements (e.g., room rental, catering, photocopying, postage etc.)	As incurred

Application fee is payable to the BCICAC by claimant at the time of the application, and is also payable upon filing of any counterclaim.

The fee payable upon appointment of mediator or arbitrator is to be paid by each party.

A deposit may be required for other costs, including arbitrator or mediator fees.

All deposit funds are held in trust until completion of the arbitration or end of the mediation conference.

Allocation of responsibility for costs is in the discretion of the arbitrator.

Parties to a mediation may decide allocation of costs as part of their negotiation.

The above-noted fees and costs are exclusive of the parties" legal fees if represented by counsel.
