Domain Island is a franchiser of internet infrastructure services, including multilingual Universal Domain Names, multilingual Universal Keywords, multilingual directory services, multilingual wireless services, multilingual hosting services and Personal Internet services. Domain Island is an accredited registrar and master franchiser for the Universal Registry.

Domain Island has adopted the Universal Dispute Policy as appears on its website for the resolution of domain name disputes, together with the Universal Rules of Procedure.

The British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre has developed its own Supplemental Rules for the programme and has appointed a panel of arbitrators
